More snow yesterday has left my car looking like a marshmallow. The dogs love this stuff, the kids, too. I’m just glad to have a white Christmas!

So, here again, for those that won’t are more pics of this silly land I call home.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays everyone.

Stay safe. Stay well. Know you are in my thoughts.

  1. I love snow! Thank you for the stars, I promise I will get to it as soon as I can. It’s my husband’s turn to be sick now, he’s off to the hospital because everything is closed. My mom cancelled X-mas at my house cause we’re all sick lol, like she has the power to cancel X-mas lol, we’ve postponed it to next week. So this week I will nominate my favourite blogs. I wonder if 2013 blog of the year is out already, anyway thank you for the kind thoughts. I wish you and your family a very merry X-mas, and lots of love, fun, and good health. Talk to you soon.

    • I’m so sorry for the struggles you’ve been facing – sorry to learn that now your husband is sick. Please know you are in my thoughts – wishing you all a speedy recovery and a wonderful Christmas (when you finally do celebrate it).
      Much love to you-
      Sue

What beautiful big dogs! I had to get a little guy because we bought a condo (BIG mistake, as my daughter made me realize). She later helped us find the perfect little house that’s just a walk down the block and across the ball field to their place.
Your property looks lovely with the woods so close, and a nice deck to view them.
Wenatchee has the record for snowfall this year in the continental US. Yours looks prettier and fluffier.
    My best to you………..

    • This is our first time owning two dogs at the same time. Bella came to us late in her life – and fits in so wonderfully. I call them the two old ladies. They get along great, unless one of them gets tired on their walk – then I say they’re “getting pissy” and laugh!
The woods are wonderful here – so private and beautiful. Sometimes you feel a bit closed in – but it’s worth the tradeoff for city living! My husband built the little archway from logs cut from the yard. He’s a handy man!
Got snow, heh? This last storm landed us over a foot and now there’s more on the way.
Hope you’re well and comfy and warm, my friend – and thanks for swinging by!

I love that little arch. Our son built something similar in our old house. Like my brothers, Jake can build anything. Kurt isn’t a handyman, but he tries. If he doesn’t know how to do it, he watches a youtube video.

      • don’t ya just love youtube? Check on “hamsters spinning on a plate.” I’ve never laughed so hard in my life.

As to the arch – it got knocked down last year with one of our wind storms. Flat as a pancake. Looked completely wrecked. Not to my man… he simply stood it back up!
